Putnam County’s Key wins with TTU speech and debate team

 

Laton Key, a junior biology and psychology student from Baxter, had won several awards with Tennessee Tech University’s speech and debate team.

At the Tennessee Intercollegiate Forensics Association State Tournament, Key was the state champion in open debate. The university team won third in the debate sweepstakes. The tournament was held

Ryan Goke, a freshman English student from Hartsville, has won several awards with Tennessee Tech University’s speech and debate team.

TTU IEEE Headed to Secon 2013

The officers and several members from our chapter are headed to Jacksonville, FL to attend this year's SoutheastCon. At the conference we will compete in different fields including ethics, t-shirt design, software, and hardware (robotics competition). We will strive to represent Tech well. You can see how we are doing and see pictures as we compete here. Wish us luck!
